You've Got To Hide Your Love Away - For Beatles Songs Download

This is our low tech, acoustic version for Slowpaw Steve's Beatles Download album. Silent Jim has a link (with his comment) to where he has done sound engineering- it really enhanced the sound.

G D F G C F C
Here I stand head in hand, turn my face to the wall

G D F G C F C D
If she's gone I can't go on, feeling two foot small

G D F G C F C
Everywhere people stare each and every way

G D F G C F C D
I can see them laugh at me and I hear them say ay ay

Chorus G C D
Hey, you got to hide your -love away
Hey you got to hide your -love away

G D F G C F C
How can I even try, I can never win

G D F G C F C D
Hearing them seeing them in the state I'm in

G D F G C F C
How could she say to me love will find away

G D F G C F C D
Gather round all you clowns, let me hear you say ay ay.

Repeat Chorus

Thanks for the kind comments.   This was fun to do.  Linda and I were teenagers when the song came out.  Would have been so cool to be able to do it then.   We didn't start playing until I was around 50.

Check out South Paw Davey's link below to hear the real thing.   Gees.  :(    I thought we sang it pretty good until I re-listened to John Lennon doing it.  Would have been nice to have George on cbg, Paul on cbg bass and Ringo on 5 gallon bucket drums.  Gees, we might have been stars with them in the band.
