On the surface this sounds like a song about Mommy and Daddy issues but its really about substance abuse.Every day we lose musicians artists and friends in more ways then we know to this problem for some people its a joke but to me it serious as a heart attack. I have kick this song around for a decade, taking the advise from one of bugs post, that after nine takes post it or trash it. I cut the drums, bass and 2 guitars from this, grab a RTZ and played this once. the last 2 verses I tried to put some seperation on the electric guitar to emphasize when the mental issues pop up, needs some work.
I might put some hand drum and shaker to this.
Please comment what you really feel.

Comment by RTZGUITARS on February 3, 2013 at 9:28pm Turtle I have put a couple piezo's rod in bridges and I really like them, but I have not preamped one yet. You can get a rods from Ben and build a preamp for about $10 bucks at radio shack. Fishman matrix run about $150 but they are really good.
Thanks S.J.
I think it's the Fishman sound I like. Always heard great things about them. It would be interesting to try one in a well built CBG to hear what it sounds like.

Comment by the anonymous pick on February 3, 2013 at 7:09pm great stuff !!!
Top notch recording. Everything is clear as a bell and the acoustic sounds extra sweet. I could use a little percussion, but not too much. Maybe bring it in after the second verse when the solo kicks in just to pump it up a little? I really like the end with the call and response thing you do with the acoustics.
