Hehehe! I can relate Jim! My wife reminds me about my songs that "they're not all gems" :)

Richard, I get the back deck, the basement or the one bedroom to record. So I get the neighbor's listening to me practicing 20 times. lawnmowers, laundry noises... cats... ! lol  Thx for the comments, much appreciated! I tried to "keep it clean" but like my place in the gutter :)

Like your comment Derek about wife asking about a song means highest quality and phrase= it doesn't stink as much as usual! There is no greater truth! I'm reduced to a small space on the patio. Tough when you want to be creative with background on a live video. Jim, sounds like you have similar issues with your wife appreciating your craftsmanship and playing! A good build represents a qualifying compliment, it isn't one of your is it? Us old guys just want to have fun!

Yup, I too came back for a 2nd listen. I get something similar from my wife sometimes about my builds.I usually keep them pretty crude on purpose but if I spend more time than usual and make a more "refined" looking one she'll say "I like this one - it isn't one of yours is it?"

LOL Richard! She did ask if I wrote it since I think she meant it didn't stink as much as usual. :) Tho she said she liked it AND did wait for her to finish her extra noisemaking activities before hitting record this time (I'm learning) Ha! Thank you a bunch, much appreciate your comments (and thx for taking time for seconds!

Thank you, John. I had it in dropped D so left it for this song and the bass walks fell in naturally.
