Thanks again and thank you Laurie.  :) I love the sound of your lap steel. I know you'll make bottleneck work for you. I'm no real authority but I've tried metal and glass. The glass slides work best. They just glide so much more smoothly over the strings. I hope to have some original material up in the near future.
