407bug - It's a tip can. I attached a squeeze clamp to a peach can, so it is easily removed for travel.

Thanks Kenny great info.
What's that box at the end of the neck?

Thank you. 407bug - No amp. This resonator CBG was made by Darren Dukes of Back Porch Mojo. During the editing process using Pinnacle movie maker, I leveled the signal and added reverb (church). My new camera (Canon Elph 520HS) has superior sound too. Of course, fingerpicks are the key to getting a good strong attack on the strings. In my mind, it makes no sense to play a resonator or banjo without picks. The plastic/metal protects your fingers and gives you the ability to dig in and ring the cone/skin. Flesh is way too soft for the job. Ya, there definitely is a lot of factors to consider when producing a good sound video. Enjoy.

Thank you my CBN friends.

John, I very rarely play in standard tuning anymore these days. Got myself too deep in exploring Open Tunings. LOL

Diglydog, Sure did get my wrap! Busking was a good thing too. Got a $10, $5, and a $1 in my cup in the fifteen minutes I stood waiting. Shady Grove Wraps sets up at a lot of the local festivals. Almost everyone I attend. They make a real good fresh sandwich.

Enjoy the Summer

Got the pipes working nicely, klb.  Good song.   You can play a little too!

Curious question= how often do you pick up a 6 string in standard tuning and play it?
