Got to see Uncle Bob a few years ago, he didn't play a guitar once. He just stood at a keyboard reading lyrics off of a stack of papers. After a song they dim the stage lights and he would switch the papers. At least he didn't use a teleprompter. He is getting old. Times they are a changing.

Some like Dylan some don't.   I was a fan when I was young, and still listen to his early record. have most of them on LP's.

Yes, some man oor Bob :).  Shaped ma playin, gitra and harp, and ma life to a point. Kerouack, Zen, talkin shit etc lol

Ah got a newapaper cutting from 1990's, where my band ( I was lead guiatrist), was advertised on same page as Bob playin SECC in Glasgow. My band was about 3 inches from Bob (still got cuttiing lol).

Also, ah met Dominic Behan a few times in pub (pal of ma pal). Dominic's song "The Patriot Game" was where Dylan got "God On Our Side" melody from. (Dominic got from old Irish Tune; but he changes some of it, and Bob used Dominic's version, instead of public domain one!). Dominic's lawers were actaully suing CBS at tiem ah met him (tho years after Dylan's song was released, obviously)
