Roll and Tumble on homemade CheeseBox guitar

Here's a little lark, my version of the classic blues song Roll and Tumble on my homemade guitar, Cheesebox 1. Forgive my poor voice, but it's just not as much fun to play if you don't sing along!! Enjoy, and feel free to let me know what you think...

I dig the cheese, man. Never sell yourself short. As an older Bluesman with many years getting smoked to death to got" ob that's such a Bluest voice ... you are just fine. A player with great imagination and a lifetime to figure out the details of being Luthier/ performer/ sales/ adman/ cash backed for project startup. Keep playin the Blues, son

@James:  Cheese used to come in wooden boxes a long long time ago lol.  This is a cheese themed guitar actually, and if you want to check my other videos/photos, you can see just how cheesy it is.    @everyone else:  Thanks so much for the kind words!  I know my singing could use some work, but I'm proud of what my guitar sounds like.... it's definitely distinctive lol

I know.... my 'vocal stylings' are pretty weak, but it only serves to make my guitar sound better (kind of like a pretty girl's friendasaurus lol).  Thanks to everyone for the encouraging words!!

Good playin' man.  You sang it fine, but like Keni said, sounded like you were not in the best key for your voice.  Find that key and whail on.  (For me, it is most often G).

Hello Jason,

Nice playing and your Cheesebox 1 got some real good twang. Your vocals are not that bad at all, but I would like to offer some constructive advice. Possibly experiment with different keys to find your range. Using strings EAD tune DAD, CGC or using strings ADg tune GDg or lower to FCf. Maybe using a capo and going up in pitch might work too using your existing strings. If the tuning intervals stay the same, 151 from the major scale, all the fingerings will be the same too. Practice playing the major scale on the first string and matching the tones with your voice. Most times it is not that a person can not sing better. It is usually they are trying to force their voice to meet the arrangement's key. Make the instrument/song arrangement key match your voice. Enjoy your practice. I appreciate your support and thank you very much for your endorsement of my instructional video CDs.

Great sound from the guitar Jason!  though a little tuning on the voice could work wonders...(-;
