Ha! Robin got me to playing in 3 time the last few days with her Route 155 tune and I kept coming back to this one. I took a few liberties with the meter but it seemed to match the melody I was thinking about. Played on a fretless cigar box dulcimer.
Tuned DGde key of G.

Uncle John has a way with words... "Old timey goodness" indeed! Love this tune and playing style. I gotta ask: Who's Robin Thompson?

Huh. You get an Appalachian thing and a bit of a bluesy thing mixed in. Those noter slides sound bluesy, sad and pretty and happy too. Cool.

Ha,  the old farmers around here call over-alls over  hauls.  :)
