From a mid-European point of view (if I'm about to leave a comment on this at all) a serious problem is the availability of guns to almost everybody. Why do private people need guns? I think quite a lot of European police men/women would use a gun as well in a dangerous situation, but it's not the right way to present the police officer who had shot the boy as completely not guilty and even not responsible as it is done on US TV.

Cop have a tough job and the world is becoming more violent so I'm sure more of this will happen. Seem to me there should be options non- lethal weapons, officer cameras would force the cop to act right and the person they are in conflict with. Even if they had video in this case I don't think half the people wouldn't believe it the divide there is well established.

Thanks folk, just had to throw this together as I knew they would do it again. . . Just when I think we are advancing we are thrown right back to 1962.... The only guy to have a tougher job them a cop is a soldier.
