Thanks Jim. I think I started with LJ from the videos on YouTube. I'll take a look at the link and go from there. Everything I've done so far has been learned from YouTube but some structured direction is needed now I think. Thanks again and have a great weekend.

Yeah Bear, I just revisited some of the things that got me going on CBG playing and I highly recommend Keni Lee Burgess and Knotlenny's free lessons. Click on the How To Play CBG link near the top of the page and check them out. Keni Lee also sells instructional material but his free stuff will take you a good long ways.

Persevere! There are so many good free tutorials around so you might want to spend some time working with them before laying any cash.

Thanks Jim. I'm still massively enjoying it which is helping me to practice lots. I'm feeling a bit stagnant over the last few days as though improving is slowing down. No doubt because I don't know where I'm going with learning because I'm not following a course of lessons. It might be time to sign up to a course and lay the cash on the table so to speak. Thanks for the encouragement and the compliment. That in itself helps too. Much appreciated. :)

Well Bear, I must say your playing is coming along nicely and at a pretty good pace. It's obvious that you've been working at it regularly and it's enjoyable seeing and hearing your progress with each new video. Sounds great!

Uncle John, my new favourite shirt. I'd love a VW camper but think I'd need something a bit bigger to fit the chair in lol. It would be awesome to hit the open road, maybe as a gigging CBG player. No harm in dreaming.

I like it! Good on the finger picking and sliding and nice touch on the variation to finish the piece.
