No Lonesome Tune - with chords and lyrics

I ain't gonna (A) sing no lonesome tune
And babe, I'm comin' soon.
I (E) can't believe I stayed so long (A) away.

But a man must look around
And you're the sweetest thing I've found.
Your lost high roller's rollin' home today.

Well, my daddy said to me.
“It's hard as you will see.
To find someone upon whom to rely."

And in the kitchen mama sneezed.
Daddy grinned big as you please.
He said, "Bless you" and a tear come to his eye.”

I did decide that very day.
I'd like to live that way.
And now I know I've been wastin' time.

It's with you I should be.
And if you feel the same about me
I'm headed home along the straightest line.

DGB tuned guitar.
2 chord song.

Thanks, Todd.  Townes had at least two good 1 chorders that I can think of.   Rex's Blues is the other.

Thanks, Lonesome Clock.  "Lonesome Clock and lonesome John, sang the blues at Catfish Pond. "

Good deal, Alan.  I think you love to build.

"Yup Yup UJ", back in building mode, have 2 nearly finished builds under construction in the shed, also picked up a couple of nice metal boxes at a charity shop yesterday, one a nice size CBG size square stainless steel letter box and the other an oldish type slide photo box, (they're next in line) :-)

Thanks, thanks, thanks, AGP.  Are you building again?

Thanks, Ansenne.  :)

Thanks, Derek.  Sometimes harp adds a lot of 'hominess' and maybe humility to a song.   I like it when it does that.    Ha, that and the fact that my guitar solos are not too good.

Thanks, Andries.   Townes was a legend and quite a character.  He did some great stuff and died young.  I hope you find and like some of his good stuff.  There were some years that the record company would add a lot of frills and orchestration to his music.  Not good.  He sounded best by himself or with just a bit of help.
