Bug, alcohol  was invented by the same Glaswegian that invented Cigar Box gitars in 174 AD. But he got so drunk tryin out his new invention, that he forgot ta patent it, and then had a memoery black out (common to us Glaswegians lol)- so our USA cousins got in on the act.

Silent Jim, "Walking After Midnight" is a song that used ta be palyed a lot in country music pubs here in Glasgow. Ah did not know WHY? When we Glaswegians come out of pubs (after Midnight or whenerver), the last thing we can do is WALK!! We CRAWL to the kerb, uttering feeble shouts of "TAXI". Though, if and when we get said taxi,our  intention to run off withoiut paying the fare never comes to fruition. We FORGET that we are legless, and can't WALK, never mind RUN. The Taxi driver is usually in a belligwerent mood anyway (they never like it when we puke on the back seat! Ah, happy times lol
