Yes, that's C. Patton on the shirt. About 10 years ago two journalists had to clean out their company's old abandonned building and found a box of publicity material from the 20ies. It contained prints of ads for Paramount records, the label Patton, Blind Lemon Jefferson etc recorded for. John Tefteller, a 78-record collector, bought it all and published a lot of those ads in wonderful calendars, posters and T's. Check out www.bluesimages.com
The blues is alive in Europe but at a low level; every ten years or so their's a boom so we're waiting for the next one...
