Thanks all!

Mr. Random- I'll be at the fest, thinking of building something new for it. I'll see you there!

Henry- That's a great idea. I've never played anything electric though and don't know what a piezo is or the mechanics of installing one...at the fest I'll be sure to find out at one of the CBG workshops. I assume people will have some tools there so perhaps I could electrify a canjo on the spot? I don't have an amp though, could I use old computer speakers?

Naz- Busking in a tube would feel almost like a 9 to 5, perhaps I could start someone less populous but more poetic. Break Hampstead Heath's archaic rule that prohibits persons to 'play or make sounds on any musical or other instrument', risking the posted fine of 20 shillings? Entertain the Zombies of the Magnificent 7? Abandoned tube stations? ;)

That canjo sounds clunky plunky, but you sure do a good job playing it. Good job. Keep building and playing.

Good idea Henry, but people won't throw money at you if you're sat indoors. :-)))

Or, if you wish, add a piezo pick up sandwiched between some thin layers of foam or encased in hot glue, then run it through an amp and adjust reverb to taste. CHEERS!

Nice one ... you need to head to the nearest Tube for some superb 'reverby' tones. :-)

Do people still busk on the Tube?

New CBG T-Shirt!
