Frankie & Albert - Old blues on cigar box guitars

Linda Lou GDg git- John DGB git
(G) Frankie was a good girl. Everybody knows. She (C) paid a hundred dollars for Albert's suit of (G) clothes. He was her (D) Man, but she (C) done her wrong.

Frankie went to the tavern to buy a botte of beer. Said to that bartender, has my loving Albert been here. He was her man, but he done her wrong.

Aint gonna tell you no story, aint gonna tell you no lie. Saw your Albert an hour ago with a gal named Alice Bly. He was her man, but he done her wrong.

Frankie went down on 12th Street, looked in a window up high. Saw her Albert up there, loving up Alice Bly. He was her man, but he done her wrong.

Frankie pulled out a pistol, pulled out a forty four. Gun went off a-rooty-toot-toot and Albert fell to the floor. He was her man, but he done her wrong.

Judge said to the jury, plain as plain can be. Woman shot her Albert down, murder in the first degree. He was her man, but he done her wrong.

Frankie stood on the gallows, calm as a girl could be. Turned her eyes to Heaven, said, Nearer My God To Thee. He was her man, but he done her wrong.

Thanks Nancy.  Like your new name.   Thanks Sammy, I am certain you will do a great version of this on cbu and vocals.   Thank you, Belinda.   Like the art,  Clock!   Jamie, Blues men don't wear bunnets!   Thanks Chris - you have a lot of good stuff out lately.

Wes, when Linda knocks on the git at 1:35 - that is Frankie's 44 firing!  Thanks- did you recognize your amp tone?

Its a BUNNET, Unk. We Glaswegians invented it. In fact patented by ma great great great great great Grandad, Bert MacBlues. He sold the Patent to a native American Indian for somem beads. Great, great , great, great, great, (God, this is tiring lol) Granda Bert was easily pleased.  If "Great x5" (that's better") Granda Bert had been more sensible, he would have bought the Native Indians moccasins, and patented them. The hippie movement would have set up generations of us MacBlues for life!! Ah well, "spilt milk" and all that, Unk.
