I gave up on doing a video of myself, so this is a few pics of the local Fens with my music. It's all me on the Cohiba solid-body, apart from the drums. My first attempt at using Audacity - hope it's OK.

You said you couldn't play, but this is great!

Thanks John and Bluesheart. I've had a couple of attempts at recording the guitar into the computer. Here it was plugged straight in, with no effects. No2 went via an effects pedal and gave a much brighter sound to go with the sunny pics of Italy. The next step is to try to mic the amp.  I have a plan to 'borrow' my Dad's vintage 1950's hi-fi microphone and see what that sounds like.  If all goes well, I'll get the mic next week.

That was really good. Very atmospheric and went extremely well with the photos.

Glad you liked it Kevin. This weekend's supposed to be a scorcher so I'd better go and record some more !

I was wondering what music would work while I sat on a couch, a bit sleepy having just had some wine after work on the hottest day of the year. Listened to it twice, will probably come back!

Thanks Mark. I'm on a pretty steep learning curve at the moment but it's certainly an enjoyable thing to be doing.

Crikey ! Thanks all for the fabulous support, I really appreciate it. The scenery is mostly the National Trust reserve at Wicken Fen, with one pic of the drain at Woodwalton Fen and one of the flooded lock on the Ouse at Brownshill Staunch.
