Yup Bristol, gotta love a little toy that doesn't need batteries and can be used for lots of different things!

Very ingenious ! When my Daughter was little she had one that I used to play Harmonica into !

Good info Bug. I was looking for a way to add some 'verb to some of the acoustic instruments that I make. I'm thinking about something along the lines of a hardanger if the little spring doesn't sound good. With that idea 3 or 4 guitar strings would be inside the body with a tuner on each so they could be tuned for sympathetic vibrations. That seemed too much like work so I'm gonna keep experimenting with the inner spring thing

Ha Pick, that would work too. Or modesty tops for hula girls? 1001 uses!

Jim i did something similar with my turkey dish resonator ages ago, with 2 springs between piezos

its how a reverb tank kinda works,,cool idea.. The cone in those mics are very thin plastic

I dismantled one once and you didnt get a lot left to use!.

I ran a sprung bracket with a piezo on it below sound board and a spring, that vibrates.

You kinda need a clean sound and a reverb sound mixed together for an electrical output.

I think I ended up with 2 piezos in the end and a spring between them.
