"Thanks Uncle John", I too like the banged up look, but many people I know would say that both the Build and the Builder are "A Bit Rough Around The Edges"   :-D

Very impressive AGP! Looks like it would have some weight to it. Can’t resonate much better than that! Roofing iron never sounded better.

Alan, I would be SO proud of that build.  Wow.  Big sound from 3 strings.  I would assume it was a six from listening.  Good playing too.  And I like the banged up look a lot.  (Not you, the git).

(3 String Galvanised Iron Guitar)

Scale : 635mm / 25inches

Strings : .046NW / .030NW / .021NW /

Tuning: G / D / g /

“It Is What It Is”, a Rustic Build of mainly recycled junk from a local rubbish tip, the metal body, cone cover plate & tailpiece is flattened galvanised corrugated roofing iron, the neck is recycled Spotted Gum, the Fretboard is recycled Merbau, and the Nut & Bridge are recycled Grey Ironbark, a 10inch Chinese Ebay Spun Aluminium Cone was used and a 4.6k Single Coil Pickup is hardwired to the Jack.

Whilst in the process of building this beast, all I could think of was that, it was surely just an exercise in futility!, but despite its looks it does have quite a good amount of un-amped volume!
