Now bear in mind I'm no musician but... feels good to coax some pleasing sounds out my first instrument.

Ah, ok. Well let me tell ya Eric, if I can fake it so can you. Just learn the 12-bar blues progression and  you're off.

That wasn't me playing in the clip.. A local rock guitarist fancied having a go, he'd heard of three string guitars but never seen one in the flesh or played one before.. I'm more of a builder than a player, I just like making stuff.. One of these days I'll make a video of how I go about it which is really quite different from just about everyone else..

Ha, on the mistakes.  Good cover.  Most of us are our own worst critics.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the kind words. The problem is that when I go back and listen to what I played, what I am hearing with my ears doesn't match what I'm hearing in my head and every mistake is like fingernails in a chalkboard. I have discovered though that when I make a mistake once it sounds really bad, but if I repeat it a time or two in the same phrase it sounds like I meant to do it. Lol

It does sound sweet.  I pronounce you a musician.  No further excuses allowed.
