As always, tres bon, Messieur Clocky. Fascinating footage, capturing thedifferent  expressions from same person! Master of his art, that Mr Ivan Besse. By the way,Mr Timepiece, funny you playin blues (of a sort!) ta this, as Ivan' sister was  Smith Besse (as she was referrerd to in school roll cal), the famous blues singer.

But, more importantly, at 2min 6 sec into video, we see Herman Besse, famous German, who flew to England few years later , to try ta stop war. (maybe he as in USA here, to try talk to your President?!  Ah could be worng about all this, Clock,  (ah frequentlt AM, as ya know!) lol

According to my dear Ma the world has changed out of all recognition since this film was made, i recognise some of the clothing and hair styles from old family photos - the world has changed a lot in my 59 years here too....it's great to look to the future but keep an eye on the past - thanks for all your posts Clock, lovin' em!
