Bricks

My first original song:
You might find me yawning along with a song,
closing my eyes with a sigh that floats
away in the breeze in the same way that bricks don't.
Well please don't wake me from that dream
with words, the verbs half slurred from amphetamine.
I've got a 32 person stretched Cadillac
with a working Jacuzzi strapped on at the back,
and I just got my 2nd beer from Pamela Anderson Lee.
And i might not be exactly where I'd choose to be,
you know, with a conscious choice like in a lucid dream,
but it sure beats the living hell out of reality.
So if you find me yawning along with a song
and closing my eyes with a sigh,
please let it float away in the breeze
in the same way that bricks don't.
