Also, I have an electrician's fish tape that I'm going to cut tines from and and a old leaf rake I bought at a yard sale. I'm working with a local art center trying to develope homemade roots instruments that kids can make. Hopefully we'll end up with a children's roots music band.Â

The keys or tines are simply jumbo bobby pins I purchased at a drugstore. I took a pair of needlenose pliers and straightened them out. Be careful doing so since they have a tendency to break.Â
