A Cigar Box Guitar Builder's Guide to Stringing and Tuning

There is a wide variety of music played by utilizing Open Tunings: Hawaiian, Blues, Banjo, etc. Considering an Open Tuning really only requires three notes to make a chord, reducing a standard guitar or banjo down to 3 or 4 strings is not very difficult.

Well Keni this is fantastic information thanks for getting this out there....On another note I have both of the CDs mentioned on video and I recommend them to anyone interested in guitar as well as cigar box guitar... I include one of the instructional CD's with each CBG I sell... Thanks again for everything that you are doing to promote the art form... Jim
