That sounds like a great idea Jim. How would I go about doing that? Would it just be a change of strings and how would I get a different GDG from a standard set? Would you have the lower octave on the electric side or the resonator side? I'm wanting to do it now lol

That's pretty cool!! I'd have been tempted to make one neck an octave higher or lower but this sounds nice!
