The blue knobs came off of ebay, I just typed in blue guitar tuner knobs. If you are talking about the blue hole covers, I just sprayed a couple of curtain grommets blue and then sprayed the window screen that I glued under the openings orange.

Hi Roger,
Just wanted to say "thanks." You've been more than generous with your comments about what you do and how you do things. It's been very helpful to me. I belong to an "art guild" in Mesa, Az. I used to make pens on my lathe, but now I make CBG's. I will be selling them at our street 2nd Friday art exhibition and street selling thing. Your info has been invaluable to me. I only sell my CBG's to finance my passion, I make dulci-guitars for kids with autisim. These kids get 'music therapy' which is good, mostly clapping and rhythm, but with a dulci gutiar, they can't play a wrong note, instant success for kids who have a hard time communicating. Selling CBG's pays for the dulci's I give to the kidfs. Your info is gold. You've taught me A LOT about retail and how to make this work. Thanks, pardner.

Thank you, Roger. Actually, the frets are pieces of clothes hangers. It would have looked better if I had used real fret wire, but I was trying to keep the cost down.

Roger we got to do something about who we are LOL ;-) Your Roger Martin I'm Roger Morin. I don't know how many times when I post something people think it's you doing the posting. You get a lot of compliments though. I have to tell them I'm not the Roger they are thinking of and I really have no talent for building or playing. I don't mind though I think it's funny how people don't take time to read the last name Martin and Morin.
God Bless
Roger Morin

Roger, for my colored wood, I'm using craft-grade acrylic paint. Damp rag over your finger, and the littlest drop of paint. Lots of rubbing. After it dries (what, 5 min!) you can sand it a bit here and there. Then I add a final coat of oak or other light colored stain, to mellow it out and give a bit of sheen.

Hello,
I have started a CBN group entitled, "How to Play CBG" It is my hope and intention to encourage the "Wealth of Talent" here on the Nation to share their knowledge and skill to further the CBG movement. Please consider contributing an instructional "video" link to this group. If you are a viewer seeking instruction, please feel free to write. If you have any suggestions or know other players who you think may want to post instructional "video" links, please contact me. Thank you for your interest and support, Keni Lee

Thanks for the kind words, Roger. I wish I had your marketing niche! I have not sold one, they are all still here clogging up the works. I have a few out at a museum gift shop (outsider art, har!) and working for some up in a quirky coffee shop. At least they are not here!

Thanks for your tips and advice these last months. Helps to have someone go first and tell you how it went!
