Thanks again Uncle John, but your cool creations have soul, If I can ever get the sound out of one like your ammo box resonator I'll be happy! I'm just good at covering my mistakes...lol :)
Glad you liked it! I started by just walking around the living room playing the other night, after everyone went to bed. Then I worked out some rough parts, but what you hear is first take, partially improv'd. No derby hat; was wearing a baseball cap, and wanderin' around barefoot! I found an old Disney cartoon vid from the 30's, the very first of the Silly Symphony shorts, called The Skeleton Dance, that I'm gonna try and track this to. I watched it, and think it will work. I also have a memory of seeing something like this, but with high stepping blackface cartoon minstrels, that may have been a version of "The Darktown Strutter's Ball." Will try to find and intercut that one with The Skeleton Dance.

Thankyou for your kind words Uncle John.. I do actually have an Uncle John as it goes :) He's a wood carver and artist and apparently, when he did some research on our family history..turns out that the famous American artist Grandma Moses, is my great, great great (not sure how many) Grandmother.

As you know, my cd didn't fund on Kickstarter. I have lowered my dollar goal, to the amount I figure it will take to get the actual recording done (I will duplicate the discs and make the labels, etc, myself).

Thanks for the words Uncle John. I really intended to cut grass that day and hadn't thought about doing an old timey look. Next time!
