Beautiful work Kevin someday I'm gonna make a pretty one. You know what happens to me? I get half way through the build and I say to myself,"just finish it and get to playing" so my builds really have that hand hewn look. What the heck I like playin' hahahaha! Keep up the great work!
Hi Kevin, Thanks for your kind words on Cigar Box Guitar Song. I was just looking at your builds again. You were quickly doing advanced stuff: Peg heads, finger boards, braced tops, nice fret markers.
I've been out in the shop working on a small box, short scale 2 string, a simple build. It's going so good that at the moment, I wish I had planned a fretted 3. Looked to switch and I'd put 2 tuner holes in such that it ruins chances for a 3. Oh well, the guy I have it in mind for needs as simple a git as he can get!

Hi Kevin. Thanks for the very kind comment. I've not seen any mention of uneven response from piezo pickups to different strings. Only that they tend to sound a bit treble heavy and hollow. I'm quite pleased with the configuration that I used on this bridge, but I still balance it with the magnetic pickup which is warmer. The two together produce a really nice sound (at least to my taste).
Have you asked on the CBG wiring group? I'm sure you will get some useful suggestions.
glad to friend you.... everyone has opinions... some are better, experience helps.... I have 267 builds, plus lots of kits for workshops and am sure I don't know it all.
