yes sir--i notched the neck on the red brick guitar, the only marks i put on the brick were pencil marks, all the components are built around the brick itself ice bob. the sound holes were all ready there.thanks for the comment.
Well then, I guess I'll have to take back all those nice things I said about you.
Guess I'll have to check out your page more n' find somethin' else to say somethin' nice about.
Have a great weekend my friend ! Take care.
Whoops, I meant to say how impressed I am with your building skills.
And I'm not easily impressed, I've been a woodworker/artist/tinker for a lo-o-ong time
n' I've done and seen a lot. Very impressed with the machined Diddly-Bo and two-neck. WoW ! -Wally
Hey Bob, Thanks for the skeeter advice. I had heard the "green wood advice before but I think I misunderstood and was using the green wood to swat the skeeters on my head.
Painful, but it worked.
I've always admired musicians and although I've been an artist in many mediums I could never wrap my head around music. But after doing a song collaboration with LaurieLeeCampbell on Youtube and seeing her play 3-string I thought, Hey maybe I could handle 3-strings. I still know zip about music but I sure am havin' fun tryin'.
Question, Do you have any suggestions for strings and tuning to give my guitar a deeper tone. I have no idea what strings are on it now but it's tuned to B-F-B now.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Bob, REAL nice meetin' ya' !

Hey Bob thanks for the comments on the build. It's AWESOME that Samster is working on a song.... Tell her if she sticks with it, the old mean guy from the pool will make her a 3 string....( I will want a signed copy of her CD)....I am pretty sure we can get Nix to play her songs on his show. Hell, if Shane does another compilation she could get on that.... Angel may not be at the jam this go around. We will just be getting back from China. It all depends how the baby is adjusting.... I am planning on it.... Love the latest recordings man they are great.... Paint it Black on CBG, is this a great country or what? Looking forward to seeing you all at the jam. Take care - Jim

You should take an OLD CANOE put...
A "STRING" UP the MIDDLE.
Whack it with a Paddle and a TEA Jug.
