Are you thinking of something like the attached picture. I took a Fender Telecaster and just made it a rectangle shape of approximately 8 3/4" x 15 7/8". I can make it however you like. I can even make you a prototype using cheap pine and send it to you so you can check the fit of your components before cutting the real deal.
