hey barry, thanks for the friend request.maybe we can help each other out on doing some guitars.i'm still tryin to learn all the ins' an outs of cigar box guitars, but doin all i can to learn what i can.talk to ya later man.
Greeting from the United Kingdom of Europe. I have hitchhiked a lot in the U.S. , mostly Arizona, Utah, Nevada but never been to Indiana. What's the countryside like?
Thanks, Barry. I'm just getting my head around this great new guitar perspective. Have built a dozen or so partscasters (mostly teles, a few strats) and probably will go with a hybrid approach on my cigar box pieces. Very much interested in steampunk style and will be trying to go down that path as well. Really enjoyed the pix of your gear; especially the Esteban amp. Be well and cheers.
i have a aquoustic/ electric guitar wanting to learn how to play now that I am retired but I have been busy with some of my true loves in life, cars and motorcycles. been building a bobber motorcycle the last two months, getting there a little at a time, hope to be in the wind by August. I was cruising the internet and saw a cbg so I decided to go to youtube. I guess you could say it was love at first site so I ordered a cb off of e-bay hope you could give a newbie some info on building. I think I can learn to play a 3 or 4 string cbg easier than my 6 string, oh by the way, I ordered a slide on e-bay also. any info on the build would surely help.
