Old Kay Pickups - Are they meant to have any magnets on the back?

Yeh I put a P90 oe and get something out will try some Neos soon... trust me you can get a Bus underneath these and yes they are surface  mount. what's all the rave about Gold foils then, are they better iedo they work?

yep there rubbish send them to me i'll despose of them for you :)

i'm sure the magnets are in the pickups - i think the magnets may have lost there power thats why theres no power in the pups till you add some magnets with  some juice - i'm sure there are no magnets on the bottom because there pretty shallow pickups that surface mount if i'm right ???????????? - maybe the magnets can be rejuiced with a strong Neo magnet ??

Anyone know about the old kay pickups... got these and they didnt do much till I added some magnets to the back

are they missing them? Behind there is room to get a P90 bar magnet... without this there is little going on..

Any tips are appreciated...Did they come with magnets...?

I always remeber Kay pickups being a but crap from my child hood, yet now they are supposed to be good?

Are these type the rubbish ones?

There not Gold foils...prob 1970's...??
