CBG SATIRE I HOPE

GOT THE CBN BLUES

Well it’s three strings and out

You think ya can play

I think you should quit

But what can I say...

Everybody is an expert

Except for their own stuff

I’ve never seen such egos

Really, I think I’ve had enough

So ya can write a song

That sounds good to you

Just like a third grader

Roses are red my CBA is blue.

We have people lecture

About how to change this and that

Too bad they don’t know

Where it really is at.

Game on now people

It’s the kind of site that it is.

I tune in each day

To just say, “gee whizz”

If it pisses you off

Just pick up a pen

It will make you feel better

Then hearing a three chorus song yet again.

I built myself a new guitar

Put a million pictures on site

When we know the truth

One or two would suffice.

Used to be a rock star

Played in a band

Now hear I sit

With computer in hand.

We’ve got the King of the CBG

And the Godfather too

Everybody is somebody

I hope I didn’t leave out you?

I’ll sell you a cd

I’ll teach you to play

All you need to do

Is send dollars my way.

Come on now folks

Let’s remember the cigar

Three strings and a box

Won’t make you a star.

I’ll leave this little ditty

It’s the thing to do

Go play on your cigar box

And I’ll to that too.
