There has probably been no one in the last few years that has uncovered more about the obscure roots of Dylan's recent output than Scott Warmuth.

His research has been nothing short of revelatory. Warmuth has linked lines from Dylan's recent albums, as well as his book Chronicles Volume One, to Henry Rollins, Jack London, and Time magazine, among other uncredited sources.

Warmuth was also the first to discover at least ten substantial lines and phrases in Dylan's 2006 album Modern Times that can be clearly traced to the Civil War poetry of Henry Timrod, often called "the poet laureate of the Confederacy".

Warmuth is a writer, musician and disc jockey from Albuquerque, New Mexico. He enjoys building and playing his own instruments and is a proud member of Cigar Box Nation.
