pezio question

On my fourth build,and I plan on using a bar type pezio for the first time,how is everyone mounting them?Are you mounting them on the inside of the box,or outside?Any and all help will be appreciated.Continue

The guitar is complete,except for strings,outer shell for the case done.Worked a couple of hours on the inner bottom half of case,installing guides,dividers n such before I start padding and upolstery.Pics to come.See More

"I cut a kerf in a strip of wood leaving about a 1/16 wood at the bottom. The rod piezo goes nicely in the 1/8" kerf with a wood or corian strip as a saddle fitting over the piezo .  I notice a definite advantage for the rod piezo sound…"

"ive even used them as the actual bridge a few times. they work by picking up the vibration of the string so the more direct contact the better"

Started on a new build about two weeks ago,another 3 stringer with what I hope has a distressed/used finish on the wood and metal parts.Since my son has laid claim to my first CBG I built,this one will be for my own use.As a additional challenge,I'm gonna attempt to build a case for it as well,a first for me.If all goes well,the case will also house my harmonicas,and have a built in amp,we'll see...:)…See More
