My first CBG Slide Tune Ever on Cigar Box Nation!

I just posted my first CBG Slide tune ever on Cigar Box Nation. I played the slide solos and fills on my Mark Vickroy 6 String Guitar on a Boss BR-1600 CD 16 Track Digital Recorder(actually that's me on all the tracks with the exception of the drum loop. LOL) and then I dropped the tracks on my Computer via USB and edited and mixed them with the programs Audacity and Mixcraft(Mostly Audacity). It's a little ZZ Top Style blues rocker called "Dust My Bluz". Give it a listen if ya like. God Bless!!

RE: New Tune 4.14.09 "Seeds Of Wrath"

I just posted another tune that I put together several months ago. It's kind of a Space Rock sort of thing I call "Seeds Of Wrath"(Thank the Lord I no longer feel that way). I recorded it in my home studio(if you can call it that. LOL. More like a room for all my junk). I wrote this after my divorce. Just trying to express how I felt about things. Not very wordy. But interesting. Listen if ya like. God Bless.

Added another New/Old Tune_Cover Song

I added another new/old tune. This time a cover tune. It's a classic traditional gospel number called "Wayfaring Stranger". Let me know what you think! Listen if ya like! God Bless!!

Added a New/Old Tune! LOL!

I added a new tune today(Well, it's old hat to me. But new hat for others.LOL). I originally released this on the now defunct mp3.com(I believe that they folded sometime ago). This was a batch of lo-fi demos that I recorded between Late 1998-1999. This song is called"Barfly" When I wrote this tune, I had no idea what a Barfly really was(and I was probably about 34 or 35 at the time.LOL). Knowing what I know now about the subject, I'd say that ignorance was bliss. Listen if ya like. God Bless!!

Left Handed Cigar Box Guitars, Anyone??

I just thought I'd ask if there's is any people out there that make left-handed Cigar Box Guitars? The Cigar Box Guitar that I own is not actually left-handed. It been reversed and set-up as left-handed. But I'm actually very, very fond of that guitar. I play it just about all of the time(unless it's not what I'm after when I'm recording in my home studio).

Yes, Darren did right by my old 10-years-used license plate, and he is a great person to work with for a custom build. I'm excited to see what it sounds like. You might enjoy his U-tube demo vids.
Speaking of sounds, I am enjoying your music, as I am just learning to play guitars (midlife crisis? better late than never?)... love the guitar sounds and vocals. Keep the music alive!

Hey, thanks for the friend add! Glad you liked my photos. The license plate resonator photos are by the builder, Big Daddy. Didn't he do great?
