"i try to make mine as solid as possible i glue the neck to the top then a piece of wood on each side then rout for a pickup just like a standard solid body. yes it does sound diffent but it helps prevent feedback."

hey just though i would post some pics of the recipient of my first build.  i ended up giving it to my best friends son he was about 9 months in the first pic and just turned 1 in the second and third.  his favorite toys are this guitar and a gretsch drum his dad found he has been beating on the drum since about 6 months and every time someone picks up the guitar he crawls up in to there lap and sits just like the first pic until you put the guitar down. See More
