Sugarbox is a small shop in the Smoky Mountains specializing in handmade cigar box guitars.

Our goal is to build totally original guitars with unique design features while maintaining a highly level versitility and playability.

How did you learn about Cigar Box Nation?
Back in the day we used to gather hear to see Ted Crocker get banned on a daily basis. Ted changed his ways after being committed to the Asylum for Insane Cigar Box Guitar Makers. Ted has since bought the Asylum and set himself free.

Our friend Robin Rogers needs our prayers...

This sad news was in my email this morning regarding the health of Blues great, Robin Rogers. Robin is always very nice to me and always willing to sign guitars or pose for pictures. I was fortunate enough to spend some time with her in Memphis this past May for the Blues Music Awards. She is very talented and kind hearted. Please keep her in your prayers.

This sad news comes from Steve Hecht at Piedmont Talent.…

I finished Steve's red punch yesterday! This thing is loud and plays buttery smooth.The action is set up for fingered playing, but you can still work the slide very well

Shane, Yes it is present at all levels. If I touch the output jack or the tone or volume controls it cancels out, but not when I touch the strings.
