Hi Sal, Thanks for your kind comment and interest about my Gourd Builds, the Kettle Gourds I used for the builds I’ve done, were home grown by me back in 2015.

As far as I can remember I didn’t use any particular tutorial, other than one I looked at, and recorded by Jim Morrison, about making a Gourd Banjo, I’m sure there are more Tutorials etc on Utube, but I basically just built it, and problem solved any issues as I went along, as some of the pics might show, where the Gourd walls were a bit thin, I did strengthen them with some Fibreglass, and also glued some kerfing type blocks, to the upper rim for the purpose of screwing on a Plywood Soundboard.
