I forgot: CB Gitty has clip on pickups for only $5.99. They're great for switchin' around on acoustic-only CBGs.

Keni Lee Burgess said… If you want a higher pitch instrument, you can use strings gbe instead and tune ebe. Same 151 tuning. If the lower g is too slack because you are tuning down to get the e, use a slightly heavier gauge. Of course, I am talking about a standard scale length of about 24 - 25 inches. Enjoy.
