"I glue a doubler block to the inside of the box, put in a 1/4-20 threaded insert in the neck, then glue the joint and bolt the neck on thru the doubler and box. It may be overkill, but the join is rock solid."

"Fretboards vary in width a little, depending on maker.  1 3/8" for a tenor uke is about average  I know Oscar schmidt makes one model with a wide fretboard. I'm doing 1 1/2" on my bass uke...it's a baritone size…"

How did you learn about Cigar Box Nation?
Through listening to seasick steve and wanting to build a cigar box guitar. I looked it up on the internet and found this.
