Well, I have a Champ X2, which also takes 6V6 tubes.  I only got three 6V6s out of that mass of new old stock tubes. One is an old metal tube, which is less than optimal. One is used and not running at 100%.  The remaining one is an RCA 6V6GTA and I jammed that one in the Champ. I still have the original 6V6 that was in the Champ, but it's also used.  For less than $20 you can get an Electro--Harmonix.  I've used their tubes in an amp and a stomp box and have no complaints. I'd urge you to get a new one.  Sorry I couldn't help more!  Good luck!
