CB gitty 2.5w amp distortion

Just wondering what the 2.5 w amp board from cbgitty sounds like when distorted. Ive tried other chipmamps and some distort nicely e.g. LM386, but others do not e.g TDA2003.

"Yes I'll be buying more of those boxes. The top and back are only 1.5mm thick so very resonant but fragile. Luckily the bridge is near the edge or it would exert too much pressure on the top, methinks."

Again it's not a cigar box but a box from a craft shop. Very thin top and back so needed bracing on the inside

"I have ended up using a motorcycle battery for 1 to 20W amps. It's small enough to fit inside a small practice amp, is rechargeable and can delivery as much current as needed. For a less mobile solution in my shed I have 2 old car batteries…"

Some of you may know what a hurley is but its used in this great sport. https://g.co/kgs/gsEFqV. They are vaguely guitar shaped and so I often used one in lieu of an air guitar in my youth. So imagine my delight when I came across this lad.
