I'm a massive fan of delta blues particularly the rawness from the early recordings, it's that rawness which also draws me to cigar box guitars as well.

Hi Lee, that pickup on the Queen B is just one of the standard cheap Chinese single coil pickups. it sounds fine to me, but I am not very picky. If I don't like the way it sounds, I just adjust my modelling amp to make it sound better.

 

But it works just fine. Since it is a CBG, I don't think folks should be expecting it to sound like a Les Paul with humbuckers in it. It sounds like what I think a CBG should sound like.  :-)
