Rusty Pup (Mark) said… You're welcome, Dan. I talked to Randy Bretz yesterday about your problem, and it turns out the bridge saddle not only needs to be making full contact with the rod, but the rod needs to be under pressure. String tension is usually enough pressure to make it work.
