WSBLUESBOX

I got the Cigarbox bug while on a great discovery trek through the classic country blues. I decided to make one and when i was finished i had so much fun playing it. I took it around a few jams and alot of people started asking me to build one for them. One year later i have my own grass roots company building guitars and 3 month wait list. You can check out what i am up to on my blog, www.wsbluesbox.wordpress.com .

Thanks Craig for your comments and for sharing my video on your page. Not sure what you mean about the video being disabled?...it played fine for me. Possibly I had it set at one time so it could not be embedded? I'm here in New Jersey. Enjoy.

Thank you Craig for taking the time to share your thoughts. I greatly appreciate your sentiments. I started teaching initially as a way to clarify my approach and understanding. As the encouragement from viewers came in, I became more empowered to commit deeper. I guess because I am more of a home grown accessible performer than the untouchable professionals and guitar Gods we all love, players find my lessons usable and directly relevant. Honestly, it is my hope that my work is really helping others to play this style that I love and maybe it will someday lead someone to the lime light. Thank you again for your kindness and support. Enjoy.

He spent some time looking for a local artisan to build one for him. lucky for me, I am the only one in the Vancouver region. So far!.

Here is a pick of how it turned out.…

The Krieger

This is a cool one i built for a friend who is a well respected melodian musician here in Vancouver. His name is John Krieger. He wanted me to tweak it a bit and put a double octave string for the high strings and have a strum stick fretting on it. It turned out nice and sounded really beautiful. I used a nice Punch box i found in San Diego on a business trip and piece of…
