"That toally depends on what tuning you want to use. C6 tuning has a low string of only .38 typically Blues tunings like open E or D typically have 15-16 high, to 58 to 70 low string. MUch chunkier strings. Make sure what tunings you want to play in…"

"I would not use a piezo for a lap steel, personally. But if you are going to, use two, side by side for good coverage and more volume. I find them pretty weak compared to regular pickups, but I'm sure a lot of people swear by them. I also…"

"I prefer to use 1/4" Mother of Pearl dots. These are really cheap on EBay and easy to install. The hard part is finding a 1/4" bit that will cut flat on the bottom. I solved this by taking a high speed, strait fluted router bit and…"

Its a 2x4 notched the depth same as donor guitar...it runs the length inside the box i notched it for the pickup so it still raises up and down. I used the pick guard as a temp to put bridge plate in same place. I messed up a little on the neck 2 screws stick out...i will post pics of that but i sealed it up..my bad. Im in a hurry has to ready for next weekend and im going to try and get Ben Prestage to sign is tomorrow.
