"just stick the piezo disc between 2 pieces of leather , glue up around the edges of the leather. That should be enough to tame the harshness"

"vvvvv nice lookin uke! that stuff need steaming to bend or do you just jig and fix it? Loco - might have to give the ply a shot, I used a steel soundboard on my last one which sounded sweet but was hard work!"

I'm so glad you set up a uke group...great!
I think ukes are a great first instrument to build and so much fun to play.
I'm dying to get nr.2 done. So many projects and only so much time but
i'm hoping to get it done within two weeks.
I'll post it of course when it's ready.
