Tru-Oil 1

Oak headstock, bone nut, and mahogany fingerboard after 5 coats of Tru-Oil. Gotta hang it in the sun to cure for a couple of days, then I can assemble this puppy.

Thanks again, guys. Just a quick update - this stuff cures smooth! I sanded with 180, 220, and 320, but I should have gone to 400 and finished up with 600. It's as smooth as a baby's bottom, but it could have been even slicker. Lesson learned. It needs to cure another day, then I can start assembly. All in all, I love this stuff. It's extremely easy to apply, and the results speak for themselves.

I never looked there - they may very well have it.

Wallmart?

I got it at a hardware store that sells sporting supplies. It's actually made for refinishing gun stocks, so any gun shop, sporting goods store, or some hardware stores should have it.
