Update on this lab rat. I put some used frets on a 24" scale. It was fretless with markers set at 25" before but I moved the bridge around freely untill I settled with the 24". This scale made it sound better it seems. All my others have been fretless so this was my first fret job. Very easy to do and made it so much more comfortable to play. The action was set lower and intonation is real close. Next I'll pull the strings down at the head. This rat gets better each upgrade.
