Slide on the hump
Throwing off the hump is my way to throw porcelain slides. I keep pulling slides off the "hump" of clay till it's used up. This hump made 20 slides.

I do love it Uncle, but boy my hands hurt today from centering the clay 20 times. Stiff porcelain is used as it shapes more precisely. The mule kicks back.

It should feel good making clay into beautiful, good working slides and the other neat things you make.

Oops Bones. 20 and counting. The whole lump of clay will make 40. I used half today.
